Company History

Quantum Care was formed on the 1st July 1992 to operate care homes for older people in Hertfordshire. We were one of the first companies created to operate care homes that were formerly owned and operated by a local authority.

We undertook a £30 million rebuild and refurbishment programme over the following decade. It was a clear demonstration of our commitment to high-quality care and showed how we intended to place our residents at the heart of our work.

In October 2005 Quantum Care opened its first home in Essex, Tye Green Lodge. In 2010 Quantum Care opened its first home in Bedfordshire, Trefoil House.
