Not For Profit

Quantum Care is a not-for-profit organisation, which means we do not have any shareholders and therefore do not have to pay dividends. This in turn means that we can focus solely on the welfare of our customers and employees. We were formed as an Industrial and Provident Society and use any surplus we make to invest in facilities and services.

We operate in a competitive business environment where provision of high quality care is a key objective. A significant portion of our residents are funded through a care contract with Hertfordshire County Council, but we also provide services for privately-funded residents.

Our work is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors. The members are able to bring business experience and independent judgement to their role and help us to shape the strategic direction of Quantum Care.
