Training available to external organisations

Whilst primarily providing a training service to our own homes, the training department is able to offer places on a wide range of courses to other organisation's.

These include:

• Dementia Care (at various levels)
• Health & Safety training for care staff
• 1st Certificate in Food Safety (RIPHH)
• 1st Certificate in Health & safety (CIEH)
• Care Planning & Recording Skills
• Communication skills
• Protecting residents from abuse
• Medication
• Stress Awareness (CIEH)
• Appointed Persons First Aid
• Other training on a range of topics to enable staff to better meet the needs of older people

A regular programme runs at our homes throughout the county and at the main training facility at Silver Court in Welwyn Garden City. We are also able to provide on-site training tailored to your needs.
