Statement Of Purpose
'I am very content and grateful for the good care and kindness you have shown to my sister since 2004. The care has been consistently excellent, and the staff are so gentle.'
Mrs W, Bushey Heath
Heath House is one of Quantum Care’s purpose-built new homes, situated in Bushey Heath on the London side of Watford, close to local shops and a church. We re-opened in February 1997 offering 60 rooms with en-suite facilities and are split into to four units, two of which are dedicated to caring for people living with dementia. Our home also has two short stay rooms for those requiring short breaks.
We are able to accommodate both physically and mentally frail older people and try to ensure the environment is as welcoming as possible. Visits from families and friends – and their participation in activities – are actively encouraged.
Services
- Regular visits from three hairdressers, who use our fully-equipped salon
- Monthly visits from an optician and hearing specialist
- Dental calls as required
There is a Catholic Church service held in the home every Sunday and an Anglican service every fortnight.
If you are interested in any of the services please feel free to ring the home directly. There is a Service Request form available to download in the ‘Families’ section of this site.
If you are specifically interested in short breaks, they are booked via Adult Care Services. Please speak to your social worker or phone the call centre on 01438 737400
