Jane Campbell House is a residential care home for 54 older people, a short bus ride from St Albans town centre and very close to the local hospital. There are enclosed, sheltered gardens for both residents and visitors to enjoy at any time.
Our three-floor home is equipped with specialist baths, hoists, grab rails and other aids to assist with daily living. We dedicate one of the floors to the care of people living with dementia. Each resident has a single room to personalise as they wish, with hand-basin, television, call system and telephone point. Bathrooms and toilets are easily accessible near all the bedrooms and our dining room is situated on the ground floor. Our catering team are well trained to provide for all dietary requirements.
We have an extensive activity programme, including daily events and regular outings, as well as barbecues during the summer months. Our co-ordinators are always open to ideas and welcome input and suggestions from residents about new activities.
