As you can imagine, it takes skill, dedication and expertise from many different people to provide the care that our residents deserve. With some 27 residential care homes across Hertfordshire and Essex, we not only need people who can provide direct care, but also those who are able to help with catering, housekeeping, finance, administration and HR. Registered Home Manager
You will run all aspects of the home, using your strong leadership and organisational skills to ensure high standards of care and business efficiency. Ideally holding - or working towards - a relevant qualification, you will combine good staff management skills with proven experience of caring for older people.
Care Team Manager
Leading a small care team from the front, you will maximise quality of life for all our residents and maintain the day-to-day efficiency of the home. You will hold an NVQ2 or similar and have practical experience of working with older people. Attention to detail and good team skills are essential.
Care Worker
Helping with everything from personal care to the preparation of meals, you will use your enthusiasm and team skills to maintain a warm and caring atmosphere for all our residents. No experience is necessary. As long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
Administrator
Assisting with the provision of effective and efficient administration, you will ensure the smooth running of the home. Flexible and calm, your ability to multi-task will enable you to perform a range of duties - from recruitment administration to general secretarial support. Good communication and IT skills are also essential.
Catering Assistant
Working as part of a team, you will provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Training will be provided in food hygiene but relevant experience in the catering field would be an advantage. Good team working skills are also essential.
Chef Manager
You will oversee every aspect of our catering operation and lead your team to provide a cost effective service that never compromises on quality. Combining excellent staff management skills with the ability to manage budgets and monitor performance, you’ll be adept at meeting diverse dietary needs. Relevant qualifications and experience gained in a similar role are essential.
House Keeper
A member of our integrated care team, you’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised. Providing a full range of house keeping and cleaning duties, you must have relevant experience, be able to work well as part of a team and possess a friendly and person-centred approach.
House Keeper Manager
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the house keeping operation in the home including supervising the team of house keepers to ensuring our home provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. Working as part of an integrated care team, you’ll help create a caring environment, where our residents’ dignity is never compromised and their independence is encouraged. Previous relevant experience, together with excellent multi-tasking and communication skills, are essential.
Deputy Home Manager
Sharing responsibility with the Home Manager for the running of the home, you’ll help to ensure we provide the best care for our residents whilst maximising the quality of their lives. Ideally holding or working towards a relevant qualification, you’ll combine relevant experience with excellent management and communication skills.
Cook
Assisting the Chef Manager, you’ll provide nutritious homely meals for our residents, meeting a diverse range of dietary requirements. Ideally holding or working towards a relevant qualification, you must be able to work well as part of a team and have good communication skills.
Activity Care Worker
You will be part of the Home Care Team and responsible for providing a varied programme of activities to stimulate and entertain the residents. The work is varied and challenging but very rewarding and you will be working in a friendly and supportive environment. Experience of a similar role is desirable, but we will provide you with comprehensive training and support. You just need to be creative, outgoing, caring and enthusiastic and have a passion for working with older people in a friendly environment.
