Margaret House, located in spacious and quiet grounds in the heart of Abbots Langley village, specialises in providing care for 51 older people. We are very accessible and within easy reach of local shops.
We provide care in five small, welcoming and friendly bungalows, two of which are dedicated to people living with dementia. We make every effort to involve the residents in the running of the home and visitors are always welcome. Four bedrooms are reserved for people taking short breaks.
It's possible for residents to bring their own belongings and items of furniture into the home (please see the note on insurance in the Families section of this site). All rooms are, however, fully furnished and come equipped with telephone, TV point and call bell system.
Coffee mornings, games and other activities are designed to match the needs and interests of the residents. There is a large room for socialising, which includes a piano and other amenities. We also invite entertainers to visit regularly.
