Welcome to Meresworth, Rickmansworth

Meresworth is a purpose-built 51-bed home, which opened in Rickmansworth in 1998. We have good transport connections via both the Metropolitan Line tube and the M25. Two of our four units are dedicated to dementia care and we have two rooms reserved for people who are looking for short stays. All rooms have en-suite facilities and come equipped with a telephone, TV socket and call bell system.

Our qualified Chef Manager runs a modern kitchen and is able to offer a varied diet, catering for special requirements. We also provide a daily meals-on-wheels service to the local community.

Our activities during the week include musical movement, aromatherapy and craft sessions – supported by a well-established ‘friends’ group. A hairdresser also visits once a week.

Our in-house Day Centre provides care for up to ten local people and transport is provided through Social Services.
