Welcome to Mountbatten Lodge, Hemel Hempstead

Mountbatten Lodge is a modern, purpose-built home for older people, situated in the Jarman Park area of Hemel Hempstead – convenient for local shops and other facilities. It is also near to the town centre and within easy access of the M1.

There are four separate living units, two of which specialise in caring for people living with dementia. We also offer two short-stay bedrooms for those who need a break. All bedrooms are single with en-suite facilities, as well as telephone and television sockets. We have an attractive enclosed garden and we hope to add a sensory garden very soon that will provide individual and combined sensory opportunities to residents and visitors alike.

Our staff run a full programme of activities and entertainment for our residents. We also have a busy family support group.

Visiting services:

  • Weekly hairdressing in our fully-equipped salon.
  • Optical checks.
  • Hearing checks.
  • Dentistry.
  • Chiropody.

A church service is held once a month.
