Quantum training in Journal of Dementia Care

Quantum Care Ltd

We are delighted to announce that Quantum Care features in the November/December 2009, Vol 17 No 6 edition of the Journal of Dementia Care. The article, written by Elizabeth Milwain is titled “The brain and person-centred care”, and explores the notion that a “deeper understanding of the brain damage underlying dementia illuminates and validates the person-centred approach to dementia care”. The article sites that Quantum Care have benefited from this approach, and that the training has now been incorporated into the Quantum Care Certificate in Dementia Care, a one year course designed to train staff to become dementia champions.
