Introducing Mountbatten Lodge's New Sensory Garden

A few photos from the opening of Mountbatten Lodge’s new sensory garden! The area is specialised for residents living with dementia as the different colours, textures and smells support them in engaging with their surroundings and each other. Sensory gardens are also proven to promote positive mood changes and relieve tension, benefiting all of our residents, staff and guests at Mountbatten Lodge. The launch itself was a fantastic event with live entertainment, a delicious buffet with plenty of Pimm’s, visiting friends and family and several Quantum board members to perform the official opening. The day was finished off with a balloon release to mark the occasion!
