Wacky Science at Jubilee Court!

Jubilee Court’s residents enjoyed some extraordinarily wacky science experiments by the activity team of Ian, Carol and Sarah. They all dressed up as mad professors to demonstrate how to: suck a boiled egg into a bottle without touching it; pierce balloons with skewers without bursting them; activate a frothing brew with a chemical reaction; produce bouncy eggs that had not been cooked but had their shells removed; submerge tissue paper into water while keeping it dry; create a rainbow effect using skittle sweets; make test tubes disappear before their eyes and propel balloons along a string from one end of the table to another. The demonstration left astonished smiling faces all round as they finished up with a light hearted science quiz!
