Jacky has worked as the Home Manager at Providence Court since July 2001 and has worked in the Care Sector since 1972. She has a Social Work qualification gained in 1991, specialising in Care for Older People.

She has qualified in Dementia Care Mapping with the University of Bradford Dementia Group, and holds the Registered Managers Award (NVQ 4). She is a qualified NVQ assessor, has the EDI Level 2 Certificate in the Managing and Safe Handling of Medicines, and also holds the NOCN Dementia Leadership Programme Level 3, specialising in Managing Person Centred Dementia Care, Developing Communication and Relationships, Supporting staff and managing the challenges of person centred dementia care and establishing systems and structures for person centred dementia care.

In 2009 Jacky was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Shirlie Kemp for her services to the care industry.
