Jeannie Conder
Regional Manager

Jeannie has worked in care for almost 30 years; is a qualified Social Worker and has a Diploma in Management Studies. She is a Manual Handling trainer and has experience in the delivery of various basic training subjects. In 2007 she trained to be a Dementia Care Mapper - this is a new method of evaluating care for people living with dementia and she is one of very few people in the country trained to use this method.

She began her working life in a high street bank. After marrying and having her first child, she began working in the evenings as a care assistant in what was Wellfield Home & Hospital for Elderly Ladies. Over the years she has progressed from a careworker through the Care Manager role to Registered Home Manager and since 1998 has undertaken the role of Regional Manager. She has also worked in and managed a Home Care Service in the community. Over the years this grounding has given her an understanding of how processes within a residential home work and how problems can arise and be solved.

Jeannie is one of three Regional Managers who oversee nine homes each within Quantum Care.
