Richard Summers
Director of Finance and Facilities

Richard Summers is a Chartered Accountant who joined us in the Spring of 2005, having held a range of senior financial and operational management positions within both the leisure and healthcare sectors.

More recently, Richard was the Joint Managing Director of a company undertaking assessments of Miners with lung-related conditions and their entitlement to compensation, and subsequently was a Divisional Finance Director at Nestor Healthcare Plc. Richard also has experience of working for care organisations at the other end of the age scale, who are providing care for vulnerable children. By way of contrast some years ago Richard was also the Chief Executive at Fulham Football Club.

Richard is committed to the values enshrined in our ‘not for profit’ status which ensures that any surplus revenue is reinvested for the benefit of residents in the provision of a quality living environment and in the terms and conditions of our staff who care for them.
