Specialist Dementia Training
The aim of our training is to make people think. We do this by:
- Leading participants to make a personal connection with dementia
- Having an emphasis on interactive learning
- Using and valuing the experience of learners
- Designing sessions to accommodate a range of learning styles
- The use of work based projects where appropriate
- Empowering staff by showing them how they can make a difference to the lives of people who have dementia.
Our belief: training has no value unless it changes practice
