Welcome to Tye Green Lodge

Tye Green Lodge is a new, purpose built residential care home for older people in the Staple Tye area of Harlow.

Opened in October 2005, the home provides residential and specialist dementia care, in a specially designed building, for up to 60 residents. Each resident has a single en-suite room, with telephone (if required), television and call system points. The rooms are in groups of 15, each of these groups having a lounge area, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and assisted bathroom. The home also has a fully equipped hair-dressing salon, landscaped gardens, fully equipped main kitchen, offices and storage areas.

As a company, we understand that the key to providing a high quality service, is in the staff. All our staff will be fully trained in providing varying levels of care, including specialist dementia care for those who require it. An experienced home manager, deputy manager, with the support of admin staff, care team managers, care workers, housekeeping and catering staff, the home will provide a high level of quality care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

All staff receive Health and Safety training and are actively encouraged in further development and gaining vocational qualifications.

We recognise that the decision to move into residential care can be a difficult one for residents and families to make, and our staff will help to ensure that this process is made as easy as possible. We will make sure that each resident is made to feel comfortable, and the emphasis is on making the home their home. Each new resident is assigned a "keyworker", who will help them settle into the home, and give special attention to their individual needs.

Residents are welcome to bring into the home any possessions and items of furniture, which are within the limits of safety and the space available.
