Tye Green Lodge opened in October 2005 and is a 60-bed, purpose-built home for older people in the Staple Tye area of Harlow. The home is divided into four separate living units, two of which are dedicated to the care of people living with dementia. One of our rooms is a private, short-stay room for people who require a relaxing break.
We provide hot, nutritious meals and can cater for special dietary needs. There is always a choice of dishes, and residents are involved in drawing up the menu.
Each new resident is assigned a Key Worker who will help them settle into the home, and give special attention to their individual needs. Residents benefit from a single en-suite room with private shower, phone (if required), television point and call bell system. They are also welcome to bring any possessions and items of furniture, as long as they are within the limits of safety and space is available. (Please see the section on valuables)
Each 15-room unit has its own lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and assisted bathroom. We also have attractive, fully-enclosed landscaped gardens.
