Advice and support

Deciding whether to move your loved one into a care home can be a difficult time, especially if it is a decision you are having to make very quickly.

Most people know very little about care homes and are quite naturally hesitant to place the responsibility for care into the hands of someone else; particularly when they themselves may have been providing that care for a long period of time. However, if you’re beginning to feel that it’s time to get some help with caring for a friend or loved one, we’re here to answer any questions you may have. We want to assure you that choosing a Quantum Care home means that your loved one will receive the very highest standards of care and support.

Quantum Care is a not-for-profit company. That means that our purpose is to provide the highest possible quality of care to our residents, not to make a profit for shareholders. We measure our success by how happy our residents and their families are and welcome any feedback you may have about your experience with us.

The confusion over what care homes are is best clarified by thinking about it in terms of moving house. Your loved one is moving into a new home, one which has professional carers on hand day and night to meet any needs our residents may have. Our pages here will help to guide you through the process of choosing the right home for you.
