Last week, families and colleagues at Mountbatten Lodge in Hemel Hempstead were delighted to be joined by Scott Mitchell, husband of the late Dame Barbara Windsor Barbara for their Dementia Talk.

Mountbatten Lodge, our care home in Hemel Hempstead, took a group of residents for their annual trip to Whipsnade Zoo on Saturday. The home is located on Old Crabtree Lane and the trip was part of a very busy schedule of activities and events that are run by the Care Team.

If you take a look at any Quantum Care social media outlet, particularly Facebook, you’d very quickly come to the conclusion that our homes are busy places to be.

Residents at Mountbatten Lodge in Hemel Hempstead have been basking in the sun in the garden, enjoying a few ice lollies and getting a good dose of vitamin D.
