Dementia talks news for Belmont View, Trefoil House and Providence Court

Belmont View, Trefoil house and Providence Court have been involved in a research study about visual impairment in dementia which is being run by the royal college of optometrists. Stage 1 involved eye tests for people with dementia. Stage 2 of this programme was a focus group to hear views on sight problems contributing to the problems faced by people living with dementia, accessing eye care for people with dementia and what can be done to improve eye care for people with dementia. The researchers were very complementary about the help Belmont View, Trefoil House and Providence Court had given to this research programme.
