Fosse House Hydration Station

For their hydration station entry, Fosse House in St Albans have consulted at length with the experts at hand – their residents! They suggested making something eye-catching and interactive to draw people in, as well as a way of reminding them to drink, as it can be easy to forget to keep hydrated.

As well as their milkshake machine they have got a mini fridge with water, juice and milk, a screen with prompts to remind the residents to keep hydrated and an information board. They involved the residents in making jellies and fruit salads and have iced mocktails on hand, very tempting in the warm weather.

Each unit has a hydration tracker and a dedicated hydration champion to track how much each unit is drinking – the one that has drunk the most will win some vouchers as a prize, which has been a great incentive! They have also made a mobile pub so residents can enjoy a cheeky tipple and bar snack whenever they want.

It is all so bright and striking – there is no chance you will miss it! Impressive work from Fosse House and their residents!
