Garden City Court Armed Forces Day

On Saturday 25th June, Garden City Court other individuals, charities and organisations in at the Letchworth branch of the Royal British Legion’s celebration for Armed Forces Day. The event took place on Broadway Gardens and was part of a national event to thank those who have served in the Armed Forced. The team from Garden City stocked their stall with items made by their residents, ranging from terrariums to Rocky Road! The mother-in-law of one of our staff members very kindly donated the cupcakes to be sold while staff and families all came together to supply the items for the tombola. All told the home made £80, all of which is to go into the home’s amenity fund to help supply more materials for future crafts sessions both for the home and the day centre!
