Innovation Forum - Community Engagement

On Friday 24th June staff from a number of Quantum Care's homes, as well as staff from head office, held the companies first Innovation Forum at the Novotel in Knebworth. The subject of this forum was Community Engagement and attendees spent the day discussing how we might create and enhance our local community relationships in order to benefit our residents. [[{"type":"media","view_mode":"media_large","fid":"1701","attributes":{"class":"media-image aligncenter size-full wp-image-4188","typeof":"foaf:Image","style":"","title":"Staff discuss innovation and community engagement","alt":""}}]] The day was full of creative thinking and a number of ideas were generated and discussed, including ideas that would help ensure that each of our care homes supports, and is supported by, its local community. [[{"type":"media","view_mode":"media_large","fid":"1702","attributes":{"class":"media-image aligncenter size-full wp-image-4189","typeof":"foaf:Image","style":"","title":"Staff discuss innovation and community engagement","alt":""}}]] Bringing more of the outside world into our homes is important to both us and our residents and, conversely, enabling and supporting our residents in their engagement with their local community (be it a local church, school or organisation) is just as important. Pioneering care requires innovation, which is why we have a number of these forums planned for the near future.
