Mother's Day at Fosse House

Fosse House’s Mother’s Day lunch was a huge success with a 8 families, a total of 23 people, coming along for a delicious 3 course meal. Chef Manager Leo put on a starter of prawn cocktail or chicken satay, followed up with salmon or herb encrusted lamb cutlets for the main course and finishing with chocolate mousse with mango puree and strawberries or a cheese platter for dessert! The home’s staff worked together brilliantly to make the event something special with housekeeping setting up the tables and everyone pitching in to help decorate and serve the food. Their hard work paid off as the feedback was incredible. One family commented that it was a wonderful thing for the home to do and that it was the first time in years that they had been able to sit with their Mother and enjoy a meal together. Another family said that it was lovely to have something so special laid on for them and their Mother and, of course, the food received its fair share of compliments! A fantastic event all round, well done Fosse House!
