MP Opens Our New Day Club at Belmont View, Hoddesdon

On Friday 9th November staff and residents of Belmont View care home were delighted to welcome back Charles Walker MP to officially open our new Q Club.

This is the third visit for the MP of Broxbourne who kindly opened Belmont View’s new extension in January this year, and then returned soon after to visit the residents in this new facility, which provides both permanent and short stay accommodation for the older community in Hoddesdon.

Our new day club will provide an innovative day service for older people which aims to maintain independence and wellbeing through a range of activities, events and services based around the preferences of its users. We also aim for this new club to become a central point for the local older community and their families to access much needed advice and support when dealing with the challenges of older age and dementia. Maria Ball, Chief Executive of Quantum Care said "we are delighted to welcome Charles Walker MP back to Belmont View, and look forward to opening this new day service which we hope will be a fantastic resource for the older community of Hoddesdon".
