To mark this event here at Belmont View, we would like to invite you to the opening of our newly re-vamped courtyard garden at 11am.

Gillian McCandless and Ian Gipps, volunteers at Arcadis (on behalf of Glaxo Smith Kline Services unlimited) and their team re-vamped the garden for us, and will also be in attendance.

There will be refreshments and nibbles available throughout the event and we have the sensational vocalist, Kevin Woolnough performing a fabulous stand out show.

The garden will be officially opened by Margaret Davison who started working at the ‘old’ Belmont in 1989, prior to which she was a lollipop lady in Hoddesdon community. Margaret retired in 2009 but continues to raise money for our residents' activities by holding jumble sales each Monday in the grounds of our Home. To date Margaret has reached a grand total in the region of £71,000. Margaret was awarded the title of ‘Life Achievement in Care’ in 2006 and we named one of our lounges ‘Davison’ in her honour.

We'd love to see you there so please come along!
