Do you know someone who is looking for their first job, returning after a career break or wanting a change in direction? The Quantum Care apprenticeship programme is a great way to earn as you learn.

Apprentices undertake a comprehensive development programme, gaining qualifications in Health and Social Care and in dementia care. They work alongside experienced care staff and study with North Hertfordshire College to gain the skills and qualifications needed to progress a career in the care sector.

The starting wage is £6.00 per hour. After a successful 6 month review this increases to £6.50. On successful completion of the apprenticeship the wage increases to the qualified care worker wage, currently £8.60 per hour. This is a full time job, working alternate weekends (at an enhanced rate of pay).

This rewarding job involves working with people who have dementia and/or are physically frail. Apprentices must complete the Disclosure and Barring Service check.
