Quantum Care Training Awards - June 2011

June saw staff from Quantum Care visit Knebworth House to celebrate the achievements of everyone who gained qualifications with us since December 2010. The sun shone brightly on the day and 163 people arrived to collect awards cheered on by their families & friends. The event was opened by our Chair, Alan Clark, folowed by the Training Department staff who provided entertaining activities on a training theme at intervals throughout the event. Various individuals and groups won unexpected prizes, and the day was thoroughly enjoyable. To those who challenged the department to be even more imaginative for the next awards in November 2011 - we are working on ideas already........! Since the start of the year, 326 formal qualifications have been gained in a wide range of subjects through Quantum Care's Training Department. Our sincerest congratulations go out to everyone who has been working so hard to develop their knowledge, skills and careers with us. [[{"type":"media","view_mode":"media_large","fid":"1698","attributes":{"class":"media-image aligncenter size-full wp-image-4169","typeof":"foaf:Image","style":"","title":"Fosse House Achievers, June 2011 Training Awards ","alt":""}}]] The largest categories were NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care (60 successes) the Edexcel Level 2 BTEC in Dementia Care (121 achievements) and Level 2 Award in the Safe Administration & Storage of Medication ( 41 people). People gained a variety of Level 3 & 4 qualifications in different categories. All in all it was great to see so many people returning after gaining higher level qualifications. It was also good to welcome all the "first timers" who were new to the event. If it was your first time, we hope to see you back soon! A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success.
