Real Life Reindeer's Visit Mountbatten Lodge

On Tuesday 11th December, real life reindeers brought some festive magic to residents and visitors at Mountbatten Lodge. Mountbatten Lodge opened its doors to the public and invited local families with children to visit Santa and his reindeers. The Reindeer Hire Company from Colchester also came with a small bird of prey that residents and visitors were able to hold. One relative watched as her elderly mother wore a glove and handled the small bird, she commented; “This is amazing for my mum to experience this, it just shows that we are never too old for new experiences”. Among the visitors was local Councillor Tina Howard. Cllr Howard is a regular visitor to the home and supports all the fundraising events including this one.
