Scouts become Dementia Friends!

2nd Little Heath Scout group and their leaders came to Mayfair Lodge on Friday evening to learn more about dementia and plan actions they could take to help people living with the condition. The scouts were keen to get involved and do something to make a difference, promising actions from fund raising to volunteering within the home as part of community service badges they were working towards. The talk was delivered by Sue Harrison, a volunteer Dementia Friends Champion. Dementia Friends is an initiative actively supported by Quantum Care.
