Second Quantum Care Home For Bedfordshire in Autumn 2014

29 July 2013

We are pleased to announce a new development this summer. It is anticipated that work will start on the new care home in August and it will open its doors to residents in Autumn 2014, adding to Quantum Care's existing home, Trefoil House in Luton. The new home is positioned next to a stop on the new guided bus way, offering easy transport links to Luton and Dunstable for the more adventurous resident, or traffic jam free visiting for relatives.

The new home will feature 75 individual bedrooms, each with en-suite shower facilities divided into small households, providing residents with a personal service within personal spaces. It will offer Quantum Care's exceptional residential care, and outstanding facilities and services, all within a comfortable, friendly environment. It will also feature a specialist dementia care area that has been designed using leading research by the University of Stirling. Comfortable, open-plan and naturally lit, it will offer Quantum Care's unique support for individuals requiring specialist dementia care.

The home will combine luxury with a warm and welcoming environment. Facilities will include a plaza style entrance with a Best Friends Café and hair salon, a variety of cosy lounges and communal spaces. In addition to its own restaurant, it will feature a bistro that offers a welcoming, casual dining experience, ideal for sharing with families.
