Training Awards at Knebworth Park

The sun shone brightly on our biggest Training Awards yet. Since the winter Awards, 319 people had gained qualifications and were invited to celebrate their achievements. Although not everyone was able to be there, 180 people attended to loud applause and cheering from their colleagues. The biggest categories presented were the NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care (80 achievers), and the Level 2 BTEC in Dementia Care (166 achievers). particularly wide range of qualifications had been achieved in the previous 8 months, reflecting our emphasis on the promotion of personal development activities and qualifications for everyone, whatever their job role. Qualifications gained included NVQ's in Business & Administration, ITQ (an IT qualification), Catering, BTEC Awards in Housekeeping in Care Homes, the Assessors Award, NVQ 3 in HSC, the Certificate and the Leadership in Dementia Care courses and also PTTLs (Training) qualifications.
