Willow Court Gatsby Garden Party

Willow Court in Harpenden held their annual garden party last Saturday, this year’s theme was Gatsby 1920’s. They were entertained by a lovely group of ladies called Welwyn Harmony who sang for them wonderfully in acapella, they also had a surprise visit from HCPA staff who attended the party to speak with residents and staff as part of their Good Care Month. Chef Paul made a delicious spread of buffet food, which was complimented by many and enjoyed with a Pimms or two! They had a great big raffle too which raised £200 for their amenities fund thanks to Trevor from Tesco for his donations, and also the Waitrose in Harpenden. Staff, residents and family members all dressed up in 1920s Gatsby style costumes. It was a lovely day enjoyed by all!
