Quantum Care has an excellent reputation for delivering quality care services to older people for over 23 years. Operating in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex, we cover a small geographical area which enables us to ensure that our services are well managed and provide the best care possible for our customers.
We were established back in 1992 as one of the first not-for-profit care companies in the country specifically set up to operate care homes that were formally owned and operated by a local authority. We continue to actively run our business on the basis of strong, shared values, which guide our continuous drive for high quality care and innovation. We have a strong focus on valuing residents, rewarding our staff and ensuring that we adhere to our operating principles of equality and non-discrimination.
As the largest care provider in Hertfordshire, we are particularly proud of our reputation for high quality staff training and development. This is a key company value and is delivered through investing heavily in an extensive programme of training for all our staff and is based on firm beliefs and our own experience that well-trained staff deliver the highest quality care. This commitment to the development of our staff and to their health and well-being, enables us to maintain a stable and loyal workforce across all of our services.
Quantum Care is an award winning company and we are very proud of it. In recent years we have consistently won awards both as a company and on the basis of the performance of some of our fantastic individual members of staff. Recent corporate awards include finalists in the National Dementia Awards, the National Care Awards, the Great British Care Awards and the National Association of Care Catering Awards.
We are also a company that actively supports involvement in all our local communities. Each of our homes have busy annual community engagement programmes, and all our staff are encouraged to volunteer or to fundraise for local and national charities such as Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Alzheimer’s Society.
At Quantum Care we work very closely with our families, friends and our teams of committed staff to ensure that we are always providing the best possible standard of care, which is tailored to the needs of each person. That’s why if you or a loved one is looking for support, then here at Quantum Care we can offer you a wide range of personalised care services ranging from short-term respite care to long term residential options.
