Ladies from a local Knitter Natter Group have been busy knitting, making blankets, bed socks and twiddle muffs for residents at Jubilee Court! Activity Coordinator Carol took residents Iris and Frances to one of their meetings for a chat with the ladies and to collect the kind donation. Some of the group have even offered to come along to the home for a knitter natter session with our residents! Thank you for all you hard work ladies, we really appreciate it!
The time came for residents and staff at Fosse House to say goodbye to the ducks. They brought lots of joy to everyone in the home over the last couple of months but they’re now very happy in their new home!
Hollie, the granddaughter of one of Dukeminster Court’s residents, did a sky dive to raise money for the home and, last weekend, she presented them with a cheque for £650! Everyone at Dukeminster Court is incredibly grateful for this amazing donation and we would all like to say a massive thank you to Hollie!

Richard Cox House invited Tina's Clothing into the home for residents to browse and buy. They loved looking through the options and choosing a few bits to buy so much that Tina’s Clothing are already booked to come back in October!

Belmont View’s middle garden has become the home of some lovely ducks and ducklings! Residents and staff love having them around and are often sat out in the garden watching them
Today our homes will be taking part in the World Health Organisation’s Clean Hands Day, a campaign highlighting the importance of hand hygiene in healthcare. Events are being held across our organisation with our Infection Prevention Champions setting up information displays and teaching fellow staff and visitors more about the effect clean hands can have on infection prevention and control.
Residents at Heath House had a great time at their games morning! They teamed up to play a few favourite board games like Ludo, Scrabble and Rummikub. Well done to winners Beryl, Rhona, Shirley and Dorothy!
