Residents at Fourfields enjoy meeting Twilight the owl during her visit to the home. She went around to each lounge and met residents in their bedrooms to make sure everyone got a chance to say hello!
Burt at Richard Cox House has been helping activity worker Davina in the garden, clearing up the fallen leaves. He always did this when he lived in his own home and enjoys keeping up with it now!
As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, we asked every resident in our care to make a wish and then planned to grant one wish per home.
On Saturday 14th October, two of Jubilee Court's staff members were privileged to be invited to The Pride of Stevenage Awards Reception held by The Mayoress of Stevenage. Angela Travis was invited along for her voluntary work with Hampson Park where she helps with the planning of events; Ian Chambers was invited in connection with his work at Jubilee Court. Both enjoyed watching singing and dancing by local children followed by a delicious two course meal. The event finished off with awards to people and groups who had made exceptional contributions to our community.
Wishing a happy birthday to Claire from The Fairway! Claire celebrated on Friday with a circle dancing session and delicious birthday cake. Everyone enjoyed the music, dancing and of course, the cake!
This event gives industry professionals the opportunity to look around Anson Court, the newest care home in Welwyn Garden City, have any questions answered about the home or Quantum Care and to enjoy a demonstration of the virtual reality technology now in use in several Quantum Care homes.

Belmont View residents have been getting creative again with their abstract Fluid Art! They’ve made some beautiful pieces and are very proud of their achievement!
Fosse House activity worker Zoe and carers from Dove Unit took their residents to the garden centre where they enjoyed a cup of tea in the café and a look around the butterfly section! It was a huge hit, especially with Eric who was very pleased with his new, winged friend!
