Pinewood Lodge had a visit from Henry Webster the (balloon man), to entertain the residents with some balloon exercises and some fabulous old time sing along songs. Everyone has a lovely time when Henry visits, come back again Henry!
Oomph at Richard Cox enjoyed a fabulous session, which included a handmade cake, snacks and refreshing drinks. The session was enjoyed by all, especially the two councillors that attended.

Meresworth had a fantastic turn out for their annual garden party. The chef produced beautiful food and the vintage singer Lynda Styan sung music from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Thank you to everyone that made this day happen!
The Mead Day Club had a visit from an excellent entertainer who had all the residents in ore. Residents had lovely refreshing drinks whilst they were being entertained!
Some volunteers from the Princes Trust in conjunction with Fire Service have visited at Anson Court this week. They have all worked really hard in the garden keeping it colourful and tidy!

The residents at Jubilee House residents made the most of the sunshine to come along to our afternoon sausage sizzle. With the use of disposable barbecues some people took the opportunity to cook over, while others chose to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Carol and Ian provided the musical entertainment to finish the evening off.
On the 28th July Vesta Lodge had their annual summer fete. They had excellent entertainment, hook a duck, a metal detecting pit and much more on the day and chowed down on scrummy bbq food made by our chef. Vesta Lodge managed to raise a staggering £202.38 to go towards the residents!
