Today our homes will be taking part in the World Health Organisation’s Clean Hands Day, a campaign highlighting the importance of hand hygiene in healthcare. Events are being held across our organisation with our Infection Prevention Champions setting up information displays and teaching fellow staff and visitors more about the effect clean hands can have on infection prevention and control.
Residents at Heath House had a great time at their games morning! They teamed up to play a few favourite board games like Ludo, Scrabble and Rummikub. Well done to winners Beryl, Rhona, Shirley and Dorothy!
Join us at Mountbatten Lodge on 25th May for their World Culture Day from 3pm! Staff will dress in a traditional outfit from their home country and different international food will be prepared for the day. Everyone is welcome so please do come along and celebrate a range of different cultures!
Quantum Care Homes are hosting dementia talks throughout May in support of Dementia Awareness Week. The talks will be a mixture of general information sessions and Dementia Friends talks, delivered by our in-house Dementia Friends Champion.
