Regular Activities at Hyde Valley House

Each month Hyde Valley House makes available an exciting selection of activities for our residents. We have live entertainment twice a month which is always popular with the residents as they join in, sing along and dance. Our carers offer manicures to the residents and we have a monthly visit from a lady that gives a relaxing hand massage.

Christine, our regular hairdresser comes in twice a week and knows the residents well, they all come out looking lovely!!

The talk will explain in everyday language what dementia is (and what it is not). It will explore some of the reasons dementia affects people in the way it does and look at what can be done to help offset the impact of the illness. We will also discuss how the home approaches working with people living with dementia and their families.

The talk will take place at 7pm on 23rd November.
