Helping with the residents' physical and personal care needs, you will use your enthusiasm and team skills to maintain a warm and caring atmosphere for all our residents. No experience is necessary. As long as you have a pleasant personality and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.

Several full time and part time posts are available.

December Training Awards at Knebworth Barns

December saw 293 people invited to the Quantum Care training awards to celebrate their achievement of a wide variety of qualifications. These awards included NVQ’s at levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, in Catering and Hospitality, and in Laundry Services. In addition, a large number of people had gained BTEC awards in Dementia Care and also in the Safe Administration and Storage of Medication at levels 2 and 3. Other staff achieved their Assessors Award, the QC First Line Management and the QC Certificate in Dementia Care certificates.

Letter of Praise for The Fairway Care Home

The Fairway receive many letters of praise from families, but a letter received recently really made them feel proud of the care they deliver. The letter read as follows;

Dear Ionie,

What do you want from a residential care home? Your answers will be completely different from your loved one who is to live there, but The Fairway for me, and especially for my Mother ticked ALL the boxes. She was fiercely independent and didn't mix. Everyone at the home took this in their stride. They even allowed her to keep her budgie.

House Keeper

As a member of our integrated team, you'll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised. Providing a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, you must have relevant experience, be able to work well as part of a team and possess a friendly and person-centric approach.

Christmas Party at Knebworth House

On Wednesday 8th December 300 Residents, staff and guests attended the 2010 Christmas Party at Knebworth House. The celebrations took place in a huge marquee, and with its black starry ceiling and enchanting Christmas lights. Guests arrived at 11.30am and were led into the main room. The marquee was filled with 30 tables, decorated in a black and white theme.

Bistro Evening at Providence Court

On Wednesday 17th November 2010 residents and staff at Providence Court held their first ever bistro evening. These evenings take place within the home and give residents and their friends and families the opportunity to enjoy a dining experience together.

The support from families and the residents was amazing with over 40 people sitting down to a delicious meal including Peter, a member of the Quantum Care board, and his wife.

Each lady was given a gift box.

New Luton Home Opens

Quantum Care is delighted to announce that Trefoil House, its new care home in Luton, is now open. The first residents moved in today and they all received flowers to celebrate their move. They are all delighted with the new home.

The brand new 70 bedded care home features the Quantum Care plaza, incorporating a hairdresser, shop and Best Friends Cafe. It is the first home in Bedfordshire and the first wholly owned and operated home for the company. It offers residential, dementia and nursing care services.
