Pinewood Lodge had their summer garden party when the sun was out. It was an excellent turn out, one family said “they couldn’t believe how much fun they were having and that they didn’t want to leave”! Another family said another said “we had such a lovely time; the Activity staff at Pinewood have really out done themselves! We are looking forward to next year's party”! Pinewood Lodge managed to raise £371 from their stalls, which will all go to resident’s amenities. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support.
The residents of Heath House enjoyed a relaxing Sunday morning in front of the TV watching all their favourite laurel & hardy clips. The residents thoroughly enjoyed this and can’t wait to do this again.

Greenacres celebrated their annual Summer Fete last week. They had a fantastic day, with live music, stalls and lots of lovely food! Greenacres managed to raise a staggering £425.72 for our resident’s activities. Our lovely activities staff member Johnathon raised £25 for waxing his legs which will go to Age UK. Thank you to everyone that made this day happen and a special thank you to Johnathon for going the extra mile.
We miss the sun already! Providence Court made the most of the weather with their annual summer party. They had refreshing snacks, BBQ, stalls and a wonderful singer. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the summer party.
Fosse House were delighted one sunny afternoon this week when Elsie’s Ices Vintage Ice-cream Van arrived courtesy of Quantum Care’s CEO Maria Ball. Everyone in the home including staff and visitors were invited to indulge in one of the delicious ice-creams on offer. Maria wanted to express her personal gratitude to Fosse House and it’s staff for their dedication towards not only the Silver Wishes campaign but also following on from the final Silver Walk that went from Fosse House in St Albans to Anson Court in Welwyn Garden City raising an enormous £1700 for the homes amenities fund.
Tye Green took some of their residents to visit Southend! Di the Carer raced residents in their wheelchair through the Water fountains; they all loved it and didn’t even get wet! Everyone enjoyed tasty Fish and Chips by sea front. #bestfishandchips #ohidoliketobebesidetheseaside
