Margaret House resident, Ted celebrated his Diamond Wedding Anniversary with his wife, Barbara in the home! They had a lovely day with their family and it was fantastic to see four generations of the family all together for the special occasion! A massive congratulations to Ted and Barbara!
Willow Court now has a walking group! The residents meet three times a week for a brisk walk around the nearby park, they all love going out together and the group is always getting new members!

Residents and families at The Mead enjoyed a wonderful array of food from homemade curry to chocolate cheesecake at the home’s dining event! Deputy Chef Manager, Imtiaz worked hard to provide the menu and even supplied staff with clothing to make them look the part for a curry evening!
Greenacres residents had a great morning sharing memories of growing up at their reminiscence session! They loved looking through all the memorabilia the activity workers brought out and singing along to some old favourites before wrapping the morning up with tea and cake!
Four Elmhurst residents were taken to St Mary’s near the home to enjoy their annual autumn concert and they had a wonderful time!
For her Silver Wish, Garden City Court resident Anna asked for her own giant teddy and the home were happy to help! Anna was delighted with her gift and her son, her friends and the staff in the home loved seeing how happy it made her!
A member of the local community very kindly offered to bring in his army vehicle and wartime memorabilia for residents at Willow Court. They all enjoyed reminiscing and having a look at what he’d brought, especially Dennis, a veteran who sailed to Dunkirk during the war!
