Good Friday

Good Friday is upon us, a Christian holiday marking the crucifixion of Christ. It is traditional to enjoy Hot Cross Buns on Good Friday. Did you know? The theory that the Hot Cross Bun originate from St Albans in Herts, where Brother Thomas Rodcliffe, a 14th Century monk at St Albans Abbey, developed a recipe called an 'Alban Bun' and gave these to the local poor on Good Friday, starting in 1361.
