Fred, Tony, Chries and Lorraine provided the entertainment while everyone some tea and coffee along with plenty of dancing! The board is filled with photos of different activities throughout the home which reflect the Rhythm of Life themes: care; relationships; engagement; choice and individuality. The nice weather was a definite bonus while everyone enjoyed meeting all the animals! Image Work Experience Students at Garden City Court Garden City Court have been enjoying the company of a ground of Level 1 Health and Social Care students from North Herts College. The group came in for a week of work experience and had a fantastic time getting to see the level of support and commitment that’s needed in a care home environment. Image Terrarium Making at Garden City Court An unusual arts and crafts event at Garden City Court as their residents spend the day making terrariums. With different coloured stones, decorations, plants and soil; each end result was had an individual twist to it. Image Fun-Filled Easter Weekend for Garden City Court It’s was a busy Easter weekend at Garden City Court! They got underway with a Good Friday service with Kings Community Church and followed it up with their Easter raffle. Prizes included chocolate eggs, favourite drinks, book and much more; all very happily claimed by the winners! Image Mother's Day at Garden City Court! Residents at Garden City Court spent their Saturday making their own Dedications Tree. On special occasions like Mother's Day or Christmas, residents can make a dedication to a friend or relative and put it on the Tree. Image Family Visit at Garden City Court! This lovely photo is of Garden City Court’s newest resident, Mrs Norris, meeting her great grand-daughter for the very first time! Around the table are four generations of the family: Mrs Norris, her daughter, grandson and her great grand-daughter.
