The Connaught Opera complete their one year project!

On Friday 4th September Maria Arakie and the Connaught Opera completed their one year project which was funded by the Arts Council to provide 7 of our homes with 6 operas each. Each opera had a different theme and Maria had many wonderful costume changes throughout each performance. The operas have been thoroughly enjoyed by our residents with many singing along to the popular songs and we are very sad that the project has come to an end. Thank you so much to Maria Arakie, Glenn Wilson and pianist Nick Bosworth for their magnificent performances and the enjoyment they have given everyone. Here they are pictured after their final concert at Courtland Lodge in the morning of 4th September. They then went on to perform one last time at Mountbatten Lodge.
