Deputy Mayor Joins Residents for Garden Party at Mayfair Lodge

On Friday 16th August Mayfair Lodge care home held their annual garden party, with a very special guest in attendance. Staff and residents of the care home in The Walk, Potters Bar were delighted to have the opportunity to welcome Hertsmere Deputy Mayor Councillor Carey Keates into their care home, and to join them for their annual event. This year’s party had a Hawaiian theme with lots of activities and entertainment, including a steel band and a performance from an Elvis impersonator organised especially for the fans of the King of Rock and Roll in the audience. After winning the Registered Home Manager’s Award at the Great East of England Care Awards last year, Jackie was delighted to attend the Great British Care Awards earlier this year as a finalist in that category.
