Jubilee Court Development Nears Completion

Development at Jubilee Court, the new care home in Stevenage, is progressing to schedule with the home due to open in June this year. The new 90 bed home will provide much needed contemporary living spaces for older people in the local area, cared for by our highly experienced and well trained staff. Jubilee Court features the Quantum Care Plaza which includes a Best Friends Café, hairdressers, shop and children’s play area as well as six beautifully designed lounge/diners, each with its own kitchenette, helping to reflect a domestic environment. The home offers full kitchen and laundry facilities as well as dedicated and comfortable quiet areas. A great deal of thought has been put into the internal layout of the building. What has been achieved is a home featuring six households each benefiting from its own bedrooms, kitchenettes, social and living areas. The comfortable, contemporary feel that has been achieved is a testament to the effort and attention to detail that has characterised the development right from the start. All bedrooms are en-suite and benefit from Internet connectivity, telephone points, nurse call systems as well as flat screen televisions with integral DVD players. Upstairs, a single apartment provides a private living space for a single individual. This enablement apartment has been designed to aid individuals in their journey back to independence and their own home. Outside, the landscaped gardens offer a meandering walkway through the grounds with occasional seating areas. There’s also a small copse, a number of patios and raised vegetable planting areas for keen gardeners. Jubilee Court, coupled with the expert care provided by Quantum Care, represents a significant contribution to the care of older people within Stevenage.
