Jubilee Court Resident to Celebrate 100th Birthday

Celebrations will be taking place this week as Jubilee Court resident, Betty Janko, marks her 100th Birthday. Betty has always been very involved with the Stevenage community, working as a teacher at Letchmore Road School for over 30 years and spending many years with the brownies before becoming a Brown Owl. Betty also used to regularly attend the Congregational church in Bedwell, Stevenage. Betty will be celebrating her 100th on Saturday 1st September at Jubilee Court in Hayward Close with her two nephews who she is very close to and the staff who she fondly calls her brownies.
