Jungle Book performance by St John's School Lemsford

This week, 50 residents and staff from 5 Quantum Care homes came together for a performance of the Jungle Book by St John’s School in Lemsford. The guests gathered together for a picnic lunch in the school hall, while the children joined them to talk about the impending show. What happened next was a fantastic feast for the eyes as the children performed an abridged version of the classic film, dressed in colourful costumes. Their renditions of ‘Bare Necessities’ and ‘I Wanna Be Like You’ were firm favourites amongst the crowd, who joined in with gusto. The whole afternoon finished with the children singing Happy Birthday to resident Heidi from Jubilee Court, before everybody joined together for a final photograph. The performance forms part on an on-going partnership with the school, whereby the children and residents come together to share their love of music. Huge thanks go to the school for a really special afternoon.
