Time Capsule Ceremony at Trefoil House

Pupils and staff from the Warden Hill Infant School took part in a time capsule burial ceremony yesterday at our Trefoil House care home in Luton. Pupils from the school have been working on the project to create a time capsule which reflects life in 2010. They included items such as drawings, photographs, a newspaper, CDs and DVDs. It was a cold day so the children, aged between 5 and 6, wrapped up warm to see the time capsule being buried in the garden of the home. Every pupil took their turn to put a bit of earth in the hole which will be marked with a plaque to commemorate the event. After the ceremony the children and their teachers went into the home to warm up and to meet some of the residents.
