The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Manager’s will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to providing the best of everything for their residents.

I am the Chef Manager at Pinewood Lodge, I have worked here since 2013 started as a carer looking after residents and know I get to look after them in a different way by ensuring they have deliciously cooked meals daily, and ensuring their nutritional needs are being met. I get great satisfaction from this.

I have been at Pinewood Lodge since 2016 and started as started as a casual Handyman. I developed my skills and moved my way up to Housekeeping Manager, where I motivate a team of excellent housekeepers.

I am the administrator for Pinewood lodge. I love my job and the fact that no two days are the same. I have worked for Quantum care for many years, having started as a carer in 2012. I love working in care.
