    Furzewood Lodge has been designed to create a vibrant and inclusive community, with a wide range of facilities that support both wellbeing and enjoyment. These include a cinema room, a fully equipped hair and beauty salon, a dedicated activities lounge, a private dining and celebration room for special occasions, and a welcoming café bistro at the heart of the home – the perfect space for residents to relax and spend time with family and friends.

    The home’s innovative design means that the beautiful landscaped gardens are accessible from each floor of the home.

      I enjoy the challenges and variety that my role brings, and I like to keep busy and engaged throughout the day. No two days are ever the same, which is something I really value, as it keeps the work interesting and rewarding.

      I take pride in supporting residents and working as part of a team to ensure the home runs smoothly. I am always willing to get stuck in wherever I am needed, and I find it very fulfilling to know that the work I do helps make a positive difference to people’s daily lives.

        The facilities are amazing and it has the feel of a hotel. The staff are second to none. They are very caring, understanding, helpful and kind. We are very lucky to have these people looking after our loved ones. The home is bright, clean and spotless. The food is lovely and there is always so much choice. The activities are varied and everyone is always encouraged to join in. The staff also tailor activities to include residents' hobby choices, which is amazing.         We have been so pleased with the care my mum receives here. The care is amazing, and most importantly, mum feels safe, happy and genuinely well looked after.         It is truly a beautiful building, but it's the staff that make it a home. I visit regularly and always find all staff to be polite, friendly and very helpful and the administrative and management team are both dynamic and approachable and any questions that my parents or I have are responded to promptly. Its been such a worry to negotiate the care system for my parents, so it has been a huge relief to find a care home team that I trust with the ongoing care of my parents - who are enjoying the food, their rooms and the care and support they are receiving.
